Unknown to him, he is an ancient parasite that gives him immortal life
Mexican antiquities dealer Jesus Gris discovers an ornate mechanical scarab hidden in an ancient statue that once belonged to a 16th-century alchemist. On the trail of this device is an American millionaire who has spent his life exploring the alchemist's writings and in search of this mythical device he will stop at nothing to get it. Gris stumbles upon the device and after using it, he quickly finds his features rejuvenated, a bloodlust that unfortunately costs him dearly.
